MLB superstar Mookie Betts reveals his body is 'eating itself' and he has lost 20lbs due to horrifying illness
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts has opened up on his battle with a gruesome mystery illness after claiming his body has been 'eating itself'. Last week Betts was ruled out of the Dodgers' two-game Tokyo Series due to the illness, having suffered from flu-like symptoms at their spring training home in Arizona the day before they left for Japan. The 32-year-old said last week that he had lost 15 pounds as a result of the unknown stomach problem, but that number has now increased to nearly 20 pounds.
