The incident occurred in the third quarter as Edwards, 23, was preparing to check into the game. A fan in the crowd appeared to be heckling Rudy Gobert, prompting Edwards to shout back in defense of his teammate. The Minnesota guard then grabbed his groin and made a lewd comment to the fan, captured on camera.
